With this song, Ike Peters is searching for closure; an answer to a question that has lingered since the world started falling apart - how do you make peace with the past that formed you when it's at odds with who you are today?

Ike teamed up with Sam Cohen (Kevin Morby, Benjamin Booker, Danger Mouse, Yellowbirds) to bring that search to life. Cohen’s layered textures beautifully underline the probing, tense, unresolved feelings of this anthem, with Ike's signature style in tow: earworm melodies, late-Beatles psychedelia, and eyebrow-raising arrangements that tell a rich emotional story.
